Rain entertains a gratifying time
Drop by drop it feeds the greenery,
Irrigates the quenched Earth,
And cleanses dusty textures.
Advancing towards their favourites,
The nimbus clouds drizzle passion,
One craves for the evening rain,
Companion in coffee and snacks.
Welcoming monsoon rains in city
Innocent memories tiptoe in heart,
Glimpses of accidentally met love
With pure fumes as of petrichor.
